At Rūvtop, we believe that sustainability cannot exist without equity.

First, we acknowledge that we live on land originally occupied by indigenous people. Most of our team, and many of our customers, occupy Coast Salish land or other land taken from indigenous people.

We recognize that inequality is at the root of injustice. Our world’s environmental challenges impact communities in profoundly different ways and we believe that diverse perspectives enrich solutions. For instance, climate change disproportionately impacts the underserved, particularly BIPOC communities (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color).

And now, more than ever, we must focus on the affordability of the housing aspired to in our Mission above.
